As we speak, Congress is voting on funding for children's health March 22 and 23 — that’s today and tomorrow!!! We need your help: Call your US Senators and your US Representative TODAY!

Tell them to:

Provide the State Children's Health Insurance Program with $50 billion in NEW dollars over the next five years!

Reject ANY efforts to cut children off the program or to restrict eligibility!

BACKGROUND:

1. This week the Senate is voting on a budget resolution that makes a promise to provide $50 billion in new funding over the next 5 years for SCHIP. Tell Your Senators to vote for a budget resolution that promises $50 billion for SCHIP!

2. The Senate will also vote on at least one amendment offered by Senator Cornyn (R-TX) that would restrict eligibility for SCHIP. Tell your Senators to Vote NO on the Cornyn amendment to restrict SCHIP eligibility - or any similar amendments!

3. The House Budget Committee is voting on a budget resolution this week that would also promise to provide $50 billion in new funding over the next 5 years for SCHIP. Tell your Representative you support a budget resolution that promises $50 billion for SCHIP.
